K2 is a family channel of the North-West, specifically focusing on the young people of our country. K2 is a youth-based Pakistani TV Channel owned by AVT group. The programming includes music, discussion programs and live interactive programs.

K2 Klub Peshawar (Live) – A live show where four young,vivacious individuals (Humayan Khan,Maryam Arshad,Maidah Arshad and Nadeh Ali),representing the youth of Pakistan come together to discuss a multitude of issues and raise awareness amongst the masses. The program aims to educate the youth of Pakistan .We look at things from the youth’s perspective.We discuss diverse topics on show in a blithe and casual environment.From ‘Cyber bullying’ to the ‘Heroes Of Pakistan’-we discuss it all. We want to make a positive impact on today’s youth and equip them with the skills to fight undue pressures from the society and world around them.
Fantastic 4 (Drama) – A New Sitcom about 4 Guys from different cultures different areas trying to make progress in their lives. The Play is all about common young fellows living together and studying together.

ccording to K2 TV Pakistan, We strongly believe that our youth requires meaningful participation in all walks of life and this cannot be accomplished unless the inborn skills of our young girls and boys are polished and their self-confidence and esteem levels are boosted.
Mission Statement of K2 TV Channel Pakistan: To provide positive entertainment while explaining codes of hospitality, honour and pride in the right perspective. K2 TV Pakistan also had the distinction of devising a system of feed back for improving its contents and programs on a continuous basis. Through a scientifically planned system of web sites and e-mails, we encourage our viewers to contact us on daily basis giving their impressions and suggestions on fresh programs.

In addition, we also take live calls from viewers in which they are encouraged to critically analyze our contents, our methods of presentations and styles of our various anchors/presenters.

We hold daily de-briefing and continuously incorporate changes in the light of such useful comments and suggestions. This system has made the channel interactive as well as provided a sense of ownership to our viewers. Our achievement is that our viewers now call K2 TV Pakistanas “Our Channel” and we refer to it as “Your Channel”.
