Anil Kumble pulls out of IPL 4, retires all form of cricket
Legendary spinner and former Indian captain Anil Kumble pulled out of IPL4 as he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Tuesday, 4th January, 2011.
Kumble retired mainly due to administrative post he holds in the Karnataka Cricket Association. Anil Kumble conveyed his decision to the Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI).
Kumble played all three edition of IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore and now would not be part of the 2011 IPL player auction, going to be held on 8-9 January, 2011 in Bangalore.
